Carefirst Medical is funded by the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care, services fees and donations by the public.
Carefirst Foundation is funded exclusively by charity events and donations by the public.

Jesse and Tate – Two good friends with BIG hearts!!
Jesse celebrated his 11th birthday in August 2022; he wants to make a difference to the community. Instead of receiving birthday presents, Jesse and his friend Tate ran a Lemonade Stand on August 13 & 14, 2022 with proceeds going to Jesse’s birthday fundraiser that raised funds to support Carefirst to build the Campus of Care in Richmond Hill.
Toronto Cathay Lions Club
On August 20, 2022 Toronto Cathay Lions Club hosted 2022 Brighter Tomorrow Charity Walk at Richmond Green Sports Centre and Park to fundraise with proceeds all going towards Carefirst’s Campus of Care.
