On August 16, 2025, Carefirst proudly hosted its 13th Annual Charity Walk for Health & Family Fun Fair along with the Seniors Information & Active Living Fair, at Carefirst One Stop Multi-Services Centre. This year’s event held special significance as part of our milestone 50th anniversary celebrations – marking five decades of care, compassion, and community service.

Over 500 community members of all ages energetically came together to join us for a vibrant day of exercising and staying healthy while raising funds and being part of making a positive impact. Together with family and friends, attendees walked for wellness, raised vital funds, and enjoyed a wide range of fun activities. The day featured delicious food, charity sales, information booths, interactive game booths, ping pong, performances and exciting lucky draws! Participants also had the opportunity to attend informative workshops on hearing health, navigating medical appointments, caregiver education & support, and heat stroke first aid demonstration.
